We would recommend this place to friends and we will definitely stay again in the future. It is located in the historic Marigny area and very close to great restaurants and bars. We enjoyed our breakfasts at Who Dat Coffee Cafe and lunch at the St Roch Market and dinner at Mimi's in the Marigny. It took us 5 minutes to walk to Frenchmen St and it cost us about $7 to Uber to Harrahs Casino on Canal St. The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable and it was one of the finest Vacation homes near Frenchman Street in New Orleans . Internet was provided as well as a TV with all the movie channels. We also enjoyed the back yard as we had full access to the yard. Thanks for a great stay and hospitality.

Had a great stay at this well appointed property. The rental is in the up and coming Marigny neighborhood. It's about a $7 uber ride to the French Quarter. It's nice to be a but removed from that area. We didn't have any trouble at all sleeping, it's very quiet at this property! We were greeted when we arrived by Kelly who showed us around and explained how to get in and out. He and Kathleen were both very responsive to all of our texts. We didn't get to walk around the Marigny too much but it looked like there were several restaurants close by. The property is very comfortable with high end finishes. Would recommend!

Our host was super accommodating and the place is beautiful. Great places to eat and shop nearby and nightlife can be a treat if you are into that. It was one of the finest Family vacation rentals in New Orleans.

The place was beautifully decorated and had all of the essentials for our stay. The location was perfect. It was walking distance to Frenchmen Street and less than a 10 minute drive to the French Quarter. We will definitely be returning!

The house, owner, and property manager are absolutely stellar. The proximity to the French Quarter is perfect. It's close enough to walk, but quiet enough to get some great sleep when you're done. The house and decor are exquisite. I traveled to New Orleans from The Woodlands, TX with some close friends for my birthday getaway weekend. Everything went perfect, starting and ending with this lovely home. We ran into some booking confusion with VRBO, but Kathleen was a lifesaver. Her hospitality in a semi-chaotic situation with VRBO was more than any homeowner would have been willing to do. Upon arrival, our jaws were on the ground in awe of how beautifully remodeled and decorated this house is. I can say with 100% certainty that whenever I make plans to visit this fun filled city, I will arrange those plans around the availability of The Big Blue House. Thank you for everything!

We had 3 couples that stayed for two nights prior to getting on a cruise ship. The house is perfect! There was plenty of room. The furnishings and linens are high end and BEAUTIFUL! We used the back patio each night to wind down and each morning to enjoy our coffee in the sunshine. Kelly was there to greet us when we arrived and was a pleasure. He was so friendly and helpful. It was our first time in New Orleans and I had messaged the owner a few times prior to our arrival to ask questions and she was quick to reply and super helpful. We will definitely be back to the Big Blue House!

The house was like a home away from home. As we were there 5 days, it was so welcoming on our return each day from the French Quarters. It was very quiet, restful, comfortable, and Clean! Will For sure stay there again!

This property was well-managed, clean, convenient and beautifully decorated with premium linens. We really enjoyed our stay and all the attention to detail. We ended up in the downstairs of the building, which was different from the pictured property but was more spacious with an extra bathroom, so no complaints! We also felt very secure with a locker by gate and security system. We were told to help ourselves to anything in the kitchen, but weren't exactly sure of what was for guests to use, so written instructions would be helpful. Other than that everything was great and we would stay again!

The property is wonderful! The location is great, quiet and there is street parking. I loved that the property is gated. The beds are extremely comfortable and it is very spacious.

It is walking distance to the french quarter but we chose to Uber $7-$8 each way. Our hosts were extremely helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back!
